(because we'd finished Lego)
Assassins creed has a really slow start... (and co-ordination requirements that I'm not capable of)
But T picked the game back up after being thoroughly unimpressed with mass effect. I actually haven't seen it yet, and that will stay the case for a while I'd wager, as I'm still trying to get through chamber 15 in Portal, and that could be awhile, because we got Ratchet and Clank:Tools of Destruction last week, and OMG! Such a great game! - this has got the non-gamers of the house sitting around watching us play.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24434266.post-59299104901633460252008-04-07T18:36:00.000+10:002008-04-07T18:36:00.000+10:00Assassin's Creed came out at the same time as Mass...Assassin's Creed came out at the same time as Mass Effect and I intended to only buy one; I stand by my choice of Mass Effect. There's a copy of the game in the house now, though, and I was initially excited by it, but then realised that as I was neither in the mood for Prince of Persia or Grand Theft Auto, I was unlikely to really enjoy Grand Theft Prince of Persia. I'm sure that attitude will change.

Yeah, I've seen the Guitar Hero DS stuff. I think I'll have some spare affection to invest in Guitar Hero once Rock Band gets an Australian release date, and I come into possession of a copy of that hallowed icon.Greg Tannahillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00823898295759037081noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24434266.post-12868337760587285162008-04-07T17:53:00.000+10:002008-04-07T17:53:00.000+10:00Assassins creed is going to be the game of the yea...Assassins creed is going to be the game of the year... such is its awesomenes!
Oh! Have you seen trailor for Guitar hero on tour for the DS? Sim thought it was an April Fools gag, but it appears to be for real!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24434266.post-21933419029093524112008-04-07T12:44:00.000+10:002008-04-07T12:44:00.000+10:00The RPG elements are thinner than Mary Kate Olsen....The RPG elements are thinner than Mary Kate Olsen.

So thinner than Mary Kate, but more fleshed out than Calista Flockhart? We need an official scale for this. Probably have to timestamp the scale as well in case someone does something inconvenient like...die, or get pregnant. :)

Speaking of games with time-travel, punching nuns (or templars, at least) and short tempers...have you played Assassin's Creed? Interested to see what you think of it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
