I'm happy to say that they all owe a debt to Tetris and be done with it.

Besides, it feels a bit redundant, like mentioning Wolfenstein 3D each time you talk about the latest FPS.Greg Tannahillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00823898295759037081noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24434266.post-27669123940861411542008-01-26T00:49:00.000+11:002008-01-26T00:49:00.000+11:00"...but getting rid of it will probably require a ..."...but getting rid of it will probably require a priest and some holy water."

Nice. :)

You didn't mention the debt to Puzzle Bobble/Bust a Move...? Intentional? Oversight? Or do you not believe there's a connection?

Best wishes!Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07550565723765898399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24434266.post-74751654360373784112008-01-25T17:57:00.000+11:002008-01-25T17:57:00.000+11:00I have to confess that I actually love PopCap and ...I have to confess that I actually love PopCap and their design process is pretty near to genius, but you can't tell anyone, or the cool kids won't hang with me anymore.Greg Tannahillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00823898295759037081noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24434266.post-77641071223833515212008-01-25T16:09:00.000+11:002008-01-25T16:09:00.000+11:00I started to purchase Bejeweled 2 for the 360 but ...I started to purchase Bejeweled 2 for the 360 but I realized that I have this ultra-powerful gaming console with all kinds of whiz-bang nifty features and I am going to play a game that I can run in a browser on my out-of-date computer?

I don't mind having a few casual games on the system, but after awhile I wonder how much time I am actually going to spend playing them. I can see myself getting trapped like so many users where I'm playing some other silly little Popcap game when I have a stack of...well...deeper fare let's just say, sitting right next to me.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24434266.post-55692258306124526572008-01-25T12:26:00.000+11:002008-01-25T12:26:00.000+11:00I think I need to see a priest myself before I can...I think I need to see a priest myself before I can admit that I torrented a PopCap collection once, including 3 incarnations of Zuma. What's worse is that they use exactly the same gameplay in 2-3 other 'titles' where instead of being in the middle of the screen you move back & forth across the bottom. But it's a new game, oh yes.

That evil abomination that comes with the Orange Box - Peggle EXTREME *chortle* - is almost as bad. I used to log out of Steam so noone could see my shameful peggling.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
