[News] [RPG]
Some poor souls are attempting to bring together Australasian roleplayers for a united gaming website and forum. I can hear the spirits of the damned cackling as we speak, but on the off chance that it doesn't turn into a haven of political infighting and ruleset snobbery I've registered for some sweet, sweet access. Unfortunately my membership activation code has been summarily mailed to my work email so I won't get to go nuts on the forums until tomorrow but if you're in any way interested in some kind of geek solidarity or discussion of RPG game mechanics then it might be worth your while to check out the unimaginatively titled Game Circle.
In case the above link didn't catch your attention, go here and sign up, damn it.

Political infighting seems unlikely, only two of us are running it.
Rules arguments is not what the place is for. It's social. Any arguments about D&D vs White Wolf or any bollocks like that will be closed up tout de fuckin' sweet. We're Aussies, after all, not seppos :p
I've activated your account, mate.
Cheers,
Kyle

Wow, that was some fast post-spotting! I can only assume that you've seen my RSS feed show up in someone's LJ friends page. (It's too much to hope that you've been madly lurking my page for days...)
Well, with a glowing recommendation like my post, plus this added information, why wouldn't you immediately sign up? I'll be there tomorrow once I've retrieved my code from work.
No RSS feed, sorry. As one of the two admins, I get an email when a new person signs up. At this stage, I usually go to the site to see who the person is. You'd put your blog link in your profile, so I came along to have a look. I mean, someone may ask me, "Are there any gamers in my town?" so I have to know about the people if I can;)
Cheers,
Kyle
Ooh, sneaky. I have been outdone by your ingenuity; good sir, my cap comes off to you.
There, done. You no longer have any reason to beat me constantly around the head with the Seventh Sea Players Guide.
Also, the Mooting Schedule has changed again and if it is not inconvenient I can now make the game tomorrow again.
Oh, so it was all a plan to avoid seeing a movie with me! (In any case there's bugger all showing; even in the B-grade horror range the most inviting offering is The Hills Have Eyes, which is all in all a pretty sad indictment of Hollywood.)
oooh! Andy and I are going to see that tomorrow night...I can't remember the last time I saw a decent horror movie, they're all crap but I still love 'em!
Apparently the movie adaptation of Silent Hill falls neatly under the heading of "not good and yet highly watchable"; I'll be taking that for a run when it eventually makes its way to Australia.
