That's how life goes. You trash-talk the PSP for months, and then a publisher will bring out one title that redeems the little hand-held all over again.
In this case, the title in question is EA Replay, and it's an anthology title. It features the full version of each of the following games:
B.O.B.
Budokan
Desert Strike
Jungle Strike
Haunting starring Polterguy
Mutant League Football
Road Rash
Road Rash II
Road Rash III
Syndicate
Ultima: The Black Gate
Virtual Pinball
Wing Commander
Wing Commander: Secret Missions
Plus some bonus content, and the ability to save any game at absolutely any point.
Sweet Jeebers, I'm in gaming heaven. I would have forked out a premium price to have the Road Rash, the Ultima, or the Wing Commander all by themselves, let alone together on a single UMD with Syndicate and the Strike games thrown in! Oh, and it's a budget release, set to hit stores in early November.
The only worry is that these will apparently be the "Genesis or Super Nintendo" versions. I wasn't even aware that Wing Commander and Ultima VII had even HAD 16 bit console releases. And if they did, I have fears that they might be pretty dire.
Still, Electronic Arts does something good for once. Who would have figured?
